  5. Van Damme certainly gets his kicks in this futuristic time travel film. A
  6. good mixture of martial arts, time paradoxes and sci-fi, it makes for a
  7. throughly enjoyable picture with some nail-biting moments.
  8.  
  9. It is the year 2004AD and time travel (to the past not the future) has just
  10. been discovered. The trouble is not only the government of the US but also a
  11. master criminal has also discovered the secret and is sending his cohorts
  12. back into the past and altering history for financial gain in the future -
  13. stocks, shares, gold bullion and that sort of thing.....and with it he plans
  14. to become President of the US of A.

  16. To combat time distortion, the Government sets up T.E.C - the Time
  17. Enforcement Corps and yes you've guessed it - our Claude is assigned as one
  18. of the main operatives. Subplot - his wife gets killed in 1994 - so, he has
  19. to stop the master criminal and his boys and also see if he can alter
  20. history to stop them murdering his wife - meeting his old self in the
  21. process.....does he do it? Well we aren't going to spoil the plot for you
  22. except to say that Van D. certainly survives to star in the forthcoming film
  23. of Streetfighter 2 (to be reviewed next issue - and also Judge Dredd too!)
